We will often see a patient for consultation prior to the commencement of treatment, particularly if no radiographs are included with the referral. While it may be possible to complete the majority of cases in a single visit, some will require several appointments. We will usually place a permanent core restoration, where possible. We normally recommend that a cuspal coverage restoration, such as a crown or an onlay, is placed on endodontically treated posterior teeth.
